MHI Appoints Krys Solvacek as New Director of Events and Strategy for WERC Division

MHI welcomes Krys Solvacek to its management team as the organization’s new WERC, Director of Events and Strategy. Slovacek brings more than 20 years of experience in planning, organizing and managing events for trade and professional associations across a broad range of industries.

Her most recent association experience has been with the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Krys has also worked with the Million Dollar Round Table, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, SmithBucklin Corporation, and the American Hardware Manufacturers Association.

Krys is a Certified Meeting Planner with significant association event management experience and recently gained her Scrum and Six Sigma Certification and is currently pursuing the Project Management Professional certification.
